To United Mechanics and Related
Knowledge, Skill, and Integrity. These three words are synonymous
with AMFA. We the AMFA supporters at United are here to answer
your questions and educate our fellow members on the benefits
of AMFA representation, and Craft Unionism.
AMFA provides its membership with the best representation in
our industry. From the democracy provided for in our constitution
to the legal representation we provide for our membership, the
differences are clear. Open negotiations and local autonomy
are other key differences in AMFA. We are confident that once
the facts are presented and comparisons have been made your
choice will be AMFA.
Information and education are the keys to success. The AMFA
supporters are here to answer your questions and help to educate
people about AMFA. If you have any questions you need answered
you can also email us at AMFA2000.org. All information that
we provide or distribute will be made available on our websites,
AMFA2000.org or AMFANOW.org. If you see material that seems
questionable please refer to our websites.
We are professionals and we will conduct ourselves as such.
The information we provide will be factual and verifiable. The
IAM will attempt to mislead and misinform our membership with
incomplete information and factual misrepresentations. It is
our job to educate and inform our fellow technicians. The truth
will always prevail in the end and we ask you to have patience
and determination to continue educating each other about the
benefits of AMFA. With a positive and professional attitude
we will win.
We are fighting for the future of our profession; apathy has
no place in this fight.
The responsibility for changing our future is in each of our
hands. You will see IAM representatives on the shop floors and
in your work area. What kind of support has the IAM given to
our membership? The only time these IAM representatives show
up is when their future and finances are in jeopardy. Please
remain professional and conduct yourself accordingly. We should
conduct ourselves as professionals at all times.
The Technicians, who support AMFA, have been with you through
all of the tough times. We have been there with you working
together to make our profession better. Who is better qualified
to talk to about our future and what is best for us? Through
professional and open discussions, we will explain the advantages
of AMFA and craft unionism.
Knowledge, Skill and Integrity that is what this is all about.
We have taken the first step in changing our future. We shall
continue on in the footsteps of the other Mechanics and Related
brave enough to change their future with AMFA.
The future belongs to courageous men and women who have faith
in their abilities.
